The Nemeth Universal aluminium javelin is recommended for beginner throwers, but this is still an excellent javelin which has been certified for use up to international level. 

Highly forgiving, this javelin compensates for an inaccurate release and is much more likely to land tip down.  A great way to learn technique and build strength with less risk of injury.
