View full detailsStarting blocks come in a range of models for training, competition and full stadium use, so the right choice depends on the level you compete at, how often they will be used and where they will be set up. Our range includes the Classic, Pro Olympic and Super Olympic blocks from Neuff, the World (Stadium) and Galaxy Olympic blocks from Nelco, and the Elite Starting Blocks from Nordic. If you are not sure where to start, our guide to starting blocks explains what to look for, and the team are happy to advise.
Filter by competition for World Athletics classified blocks, or grounds equipment for permanent track and stadium installations. Clubs and schools buying for regular training sessions can browse the full range and compare models side by side.
There is no difference. Starting blocks, sprint blocks and running blocks are different names for the same piece of equipment, which gives a sprinter something firm to push against at the start of a race. You may also see them called starter blocks or track blocks, and many athletes search for athletics starting blocks. Whatever you call them, you will find them all on this page. Our starting blocks and sprint blocks FAQs answer the most common questions about how they are used and looked after.
Whether you are starting from scratch or looking after blocks you already own, everything for the start line is in one place. You can browse the blocks themselves, protect them in transit with a bag, or keep an older set going with replacement parts. Each section below explains what we stock and who it suits.
Browse starting blocks on their own if the blocks are all you need. The range covers models for training sessions, competition use and full stadium setups, so there are options for beginners right through to clubs and venues. Our guide to starting blocks is a good place to start if you want to compare the models before you buy. If you are buying for a school or club and are not sure which suits your athletes, get in touch and we will point you in the right direction.
Block bags keep your starting blocks protected on the way to and from training and meets. The Starting Block Carry Bag is made from water-resistant synthetic fabric with a solid one-piece base and foam pads at each end, and it comes in a choice of colours. For moving equipment around a stadium, the Starting Block Trolley | Multi-Use is designed for transporting starting blocks and other heavy track and field equipment. It has a heavy-duty tubular steel frame, a 600kg load capacity, brakes on the rear castors and two removable sides for loading.
A worn part does not always mean buying a new set of blocks. Our spare parts range includes replacement foot pads, steel spikes, hinge bolts, end plate bolts and handle pins. The foot pads are made to fit Neuff Pro Olympic and Classic starting blocks, and the steel spikes are sold in a pack of 12. Replacing a part is usually simpler and more affordable than replacing the whole set. If you cannot see the part you need, get in touch and we will help.
Starting blocks are just the beginning of the sprint. If you are also stocking up on spikes and accessories for training and race day, relay kit for baton work, or hurdles for technique sessions and competition, you will find the full range under Track. Everything is organised by event, so clubs and schools can build a complete track kit list in one visit.
