The SpringCo compact wind gauge is a high quality calibrated wind gauge specifically designed for use with track and field athletics and other sports with directional uses.
Offer accurate wind readings at preset standard times of 5,10 and 13 seconds, to one decimal place. Features a tunnel which can be aligned to the track to ensure cross-winds do not affect measurements.
This differs to standard wind-gauges as it clearly shows the direction of the wind, with aiding tail-winds shown as positive speeds, and head-winds shown with a negative.
This is a small unit which fits in a holdall. The wind meter is supplied with tripod and soft carrying bag.
