Set of 8 plastic relay batons in vibrant mixed colours.  Plastic relay batons are ideal for training and practice drills to develop technique, as they do not dent as easily as aluminium batons and some athletes find them easier to grip whilst developing technique. 

Relay Baton Sizes

Plastic Relay Batons are available in Senior or Junior size

• Senior batons:  length 29.5cm, external diameter 3.8cm
• Senior training batons: length 30.3cm, external diameter 3.8cm
• Junior batons:  length 30cm, external diameter 3.2cm

UKA rules state that relay batons should be between 28-30cm in length and 3.8-4.2cm diameter.  These rules apply to U18 age categories and above, however, there are no UKA rules on the use of junior relay batons, so these are not suitable for use in UKA level competitions.
