Spike Key - Ratchet

A very strong hardened-steel key with a ratchet handle and an ergonomic grip design for easy turning. Suits all spike lengths from 5mm to 18mm. The handle incorporates a small storage unit to hold your spare spikes. The tip can be removed to use the base on hexagonal (steelex) spikes.
As with all of our spike keys, it is more durable than most of those supplied with shoes.
To keep your spikes in great condition:
- Remove spikes and lubricate the thread periodically.
- Spikes should not be inserted with great force as this rounds off the flat sides.
- This also enables you to see the need to change worn spikes before they cannot be removed.
