The Racing Rollers Smart Trainer is a rolling road, or turbo-trainer, for racing wheelchairs, designed for indoor and winter training, or track-side warm-up.  Used by the world's best wheelchair athletes for optimum performance and used by global champions, these racing chair rollers are easy to set up with a lightweight aluminium frame and optional roller weights.

Invictus Active Smart Trainer options:  

Standard:  The rollers work perfectly with your own racing wheelchair, no need for any electronic connections or apps.  Undertake your own training sessions, or simply work out whilst watching a film.

Smart: Added speed and distance sensor to enable more specific, tailored sessions.

Smart Plus: With the speed/distance sensor plus an additional Heart Rate sensor and phone stand to ensure you are working within recommended effort and track calorie burn.  Connects to the Wahoo Fitness app, giving access to compatible Wahoo fitness challenges and session suggestions.  

What do the roller weights do? 

The rollers make it easier to sustain momentum on the roller.  Whilst they require slightly more effort to get moving, they act like a fly-wheel for the rest of the session, so you can maintain a cardio training session with reduced muscle strain.  This makes them ideal for winter training and low-HR endurance.

Roller Weights are available in 1kg, 2kg or 3kg weights, and are easy to add and remove without changing the set-up of the rollers.
