What equipment is used in high jump?
High jump needs a few key pieces of kit: stands and uprights to hold the bar, a cross bar to jump over, a landing area to jump onto, and the accessories that help with measuring and marking. Stands, uprights and cross bars
Our high jump stands, uprights and cross bars hold the bar at the right height for every jump. Choose from the ARH Olympic and ARH International high jump stands, or the DIMA Grand Prix and DIMA Club uprights. For the bar itself, the Exel cross bar and the Jex elastic cross bar both work for high jump or pole vault.
Landing areas
Every high jump needs a safe place to land, so the landing area (often called a high jump mat or landing bed) is one of the most important pieces of equipment.
