The Nordic Master Aluminium Javelin is a 'forgiving' all-round aluminium javelin that is suitable for all wind conditions. It requires a moderate amount of skill, both technically and physically with the thrower.
The Nordic Master Aluminium javelin is a fantastic choice for club and intermediate level athletes, as it will self-correct in flight with greater ease than stiffer javelins, yet is still WA certified and will produce good results in competitions.
Javelins are made to suit the different skill levels of the athlete's. If for example a beginner starts throwing with the expert javelin, the javelin will not perform how it was intended to perform.
Here's how Nordic rate the skill level.

The stiffer the javelin, the less it will flex/vibrate in the air and will result in less air drag. The down side is that it puts a lot more strain on the upper body. A soft javelin flexes/vibrates a lot, which can also be a very good thing is you are a less skilled thrower.
This is the difference between throwing an iron pipe and a fine tuned javelin. The two most driving factors when it comes to the cost of a javelin is the choice of material & fine tuning of the geometry. Nordic have invested a lot of time to find the best aerodynamics for the longest flight depending of the stiffness & balance.
Balance together with aerodynamics will decide when in flight at a given velocity the javelin will turn it's tip towards the ground. If your javelin has a tendency to land flat you should try a javelin with lower level aerodynamics and balance.

Shipping & Returns
We ship all orders within 5 working days. Mainland shipping is free for all items except ammunition. Please contact us for International quotes.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday are usually shippped same day.
Orders placed after 1pm are usually shipped the next working day. We do not ship larger items on Fridays, as we find couriers to be less reliable over the weekend, so orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will usually be shipped the following Monday.
Most items are shipped using a 24 hour service, but this is not guaranteed.
