The Nordic Valhalla Medium Javelin has been designed by Nordic from scratch for maximum glide.  Ideal for elite throwers with world-class distances.

A keystone of the new Nordic range, these ‘Medium Hybrid’ Javelins are elite javelins designed for more powerful elite throwers and allow the thrower to make minor technical errors.  The Valhalla Medium javelin will self-correct immediately after the release for imperfect throws.  Made of a mixed composite material.

The Valhalla Medium is an elite competition javelin, not a training javelin. It is designed for high-level competition use and should only be used by athletes who can consistently control and handle a carbon composite javelin correctly.

Carbon fibre is an extremely high-performance material, but it is also sensitive to incorrect impacts.

Nordic uses a new ratings system instead of Flex and Distance Ratings.  See the pictures for details.

Skill Level

The Nordic Valhalla is an elite competition javelin, not a training javelin. It is designed for high-level competition use and should only be used by world-class athletes who can consistently control and handle a carbon composite javelin correctly.  Incorrect release can cause injury and damage to the javelin. 

Stiffness

The Nordic Valhalla Medium is a carbon composite material, which reduces flex/vibration in the air and will result in less air drag.  It is slightly more forgiving than the Valhalla Hard, making it better suited to power throwers who occasionally miss perfect alignment in their release.

Aerodynamics

The Valhalla has been fine-tuned for long flight lines, with optimum geometry and stiff carbon-fibre material.

Balance

The Valhalla is an elite javelin, designed to travel the furthest distance before turning tip-down.
