Turbojavelins are a great way to introduce javelin to young athletes. The turbojavelin was developed by two-time world record holder Tom Petranoff to aid training. It allows the athlete to make many technical throws without the need for the power required for a metal javelin.
In order to achieve a decent distance, the turbojavelin must be lined up in all aspects of the throw, which makes it an ideal implement to teach youngsters to throw correctly. It is a proper implement and top athletes have thrown it 90+m
