Frey is a competition-grade 800g javelin built for athletes who want exceptional aerodynamic performance with greater tolerance at release.
Its innovative design blends aluminium with Nordic Sport’s specially engineered carbon fibre, distributed evenly along the javelin body. This combination delivers the strength and stability required for high-powered throws while maintaining a smooth, responsive feel through the final phase of release.
Frey feels composed and forgiving in the hand, allowing the thrower to commit fully to the delivery. Once airborne, it reveals another dimension, offering the stability, aerodynamic responsiveness and sustained glide associated with a Valhalla Hard.
This hybrid build helps Frey establish a stable flight quickly, reducing the effect of minor release errors without limiting its performance when the throw is technically precise.
Available with Nordic Sport’s unique NXS and NXB tips, Frey allows elite throwers to select the aerodynamic profile best suited to their individual technique and the wind conditions on the day.

NXB – Next Generation Blunt: for maximum lift in predominantly tailwind and still conditions. The NXB tip is therefore thicker and has a blunter presentation to maximise lift and therefore longer glide during perfect wind conditions for this particular tip. NXB tip option is available to order on demand.

Shipping & Returns
We ship all orders within 5 working days. Mainland shipping is free for all items except ammunition. Please contact us for International quotes.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday are usually shippped same day.
Orders placed after 1pm are usually shipped the next working day. We do not ship larger items on Fridays, as we find couriers to be less reliable over the weekend, so orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will usually be shipped the following Monday.
Most items are shipped using a 24 hour service, but this is not guaranteed.
