The Nemeth Special Javelin range is named for the weight categories.  Offering a range of distance ratings for 700g, 500g and 400g javelins, these aluminium javelins are engineered by Nemeth for different throwers. 

The 700g and 500g javelin ranges include options from beginner to elite.  The 400g javelin is designed for beginner and improving athletes, reflecting the age group which uses this weight.  They can be identified by the colour of the tail.

All the 700g and 500g versions have been certified for use in international competitions.

700g 

  • 90m
    • Recommended by Nemeth for technically skilled, physically capable throwers. Requires accurate release.
    • Neuff Tier: Elite
    • yellow/orange tail
    • World Athletics certified:  I-08-0415
  • 80m
    • Recommended by Nemeth for technically advanced, physically capable throwers with developing results. Good compensation in case of less accurate release.
    • Neuff Tier: Top Club
    • yellow/red tail
    • World Athletics certified:  I-08-0414
  • 70m
    • Recommended by Nemeth for technically intermediate throwers with developing physical abilities. Good compensation in case of inaccurate release.
    • Neuff Tier: Top Club
    • yellow/blue tail
    • World Athletics certified:  I-08-0413
  • 60m
    • Recommended by Nemeth for technically beginner throwers, students and combined event athletes. Good compensation in case of inaccurate release. Suitable for both practices and competitions.

500g 

  • 60m
    • Recommended for technically skilled, physically capable throwers. Requires accurate release.
