Wear sheet for Pole Vault Landing Area
The Neuff wear-sheet (also known as a 'spike cover') has been designed in conjunction with clubs and coaches as well as drawing on our many years of athletics and pole vault experience. Made-to-order, the wear-sheet will fit any base unit modules and will breathe new life into your landing area at a much lower cost.
Neuff Pole Vault Wear Sheet features
Hard-wearing mesh cover
The wear sheet comprises a one-piece foam-filled fabric mesh cover, which fully covers the modules and trough side-arms. This mesh is made using coated single fibres which are then woven. This is superior to making the mesh and then coating it.
Full skirt
The wear-sheet spike cover comes with a full 'skirt' to fit all around the base modules. This lends an additional layer of support to keep the base modules firmly in place and reduces the temptation for athletes to place their feet between the modules when climbing on/off the bed, which can wear the bed more quickly.
Made to measure
When you purchase a wear sheet, we will send you a simple diagramme to complete with measurements of your existing pole vault bed base modules, including any fixing points or straps. This will allow the wear sheet to be manufactured to exactly fit your existing landing area.
Easy maintenance
The cover for the foam top sheet flips fully open on three sides, allowing the foam insert to be easily replaced. This is secured with either velcro or zip fastenings.
Club colours available
The landing area comes as standard with a blue wear-sheet and yellow 'skirt'. If you would like to tailor this to your club or track colours, we are happy to discuss this option.
