Padded Waist Resistance Harness

Padded waist resistance harness is a comfortable simple waist harness with strong straps and handles. It is a simple non-fastening band with two hand grips at ends of extended straps.
Perfect for resistance training, this band is placed in front of the athlete's waist or hips, then a second athlete stands behind, holding the strap handles. When the front athlete accelerates from a standing start, the rear athlete resists the forward movement. Take care not to yank the athlete backwards to ensure good biomechanical posture when training.
The handles could also be tied to a weight such as a tire or sledge.
Resistance training is a useful element to improve acceleration, both for sprinters and other jump and throw athletes.
